Strange place, rolled in on an open day… envelope box was locked and all the sites said “reserved” but were for 1-2 days in the future.
Report Check-InNice place, cheap 10$/night, no hookups, water available, access to creek included
Report Check-InNice flat spaces for only $10 self paid. I stayed there for a night while traveling thru. It was nice and quiet with full bars of Verizon LTE. Would stay again.
Report Check-InHello This campground is Awesome so clean and rustic lovely tall green grass well maintained The host were very welcoming and gave us information about the grounds.
There are rattlesnakes and this is a forest service’s wilderness campground.
spend a good night here. decent campsites. picnic tables, toilets, fire ring and BBQ. half of the spots are reserved and half of them are first come first serve. busy in weekends so make sure to be on time or have a reservation. mainly tents set up here. quiet hours from 10pm-6am. $10 for a night, $5 extra for second car. easily accessible with any type of car. lots of people here when we were there. would definitely go again.
Report Check-InWe came on a Wednesday the last week of April, but it was closed. There was a sign that said they were closed Tuesday - Thursday. It could be their off/slow season.
We checked the website before coming down but it didn’t mention any closures.
Thought I would make a note here in case anyone else is coming down Tues-Thurs so they don’t get a surprise.
Report Check-InWe are the only ones here. Except for the generator pump motor thing running and making a humming sound…..it’s peaceful enough…..just play some music…..like 24/7. It’s annoying
$15 a night, 10 RV and 5 for the car.
We are here for 4 days. Also we tried to roll in yesterday, but the host was off work. So we couldn’t put money in an envelope and drop it in the steel box. We paid 30 for a site down the road and came back here today…..and put money in an envelope and put it in the steel box…..
Place is marked as closed but half is open as of 5/27/2021. $10/night no hookups we are in a 35’ and barely fit. I wouldn’t recommend anything larger. Only 30 min to LA. 4bars Verizon service no service with ATT.
