we loved this place ! quiet, alone, with beautiful views in the canyon. campsite for 2 people : 265 (entrance for the hotsprings included).new block abltions, hot water, braï. The hotsprings worth the visit : alone and hot !!! 2 ways to arrive here : 4x4 trails after Augrabies (very bad condition because of the last rains) and gravel road from Kakamas. Better to take the gravel road ;-)
Just the day visitor for the hot springs is 70 per people. You pay everything in cash in a new and modern tourist office on the way.

Big rig possible!

We have a Mercedes 1222 truck (9m long, 3,6m high, 2,4m wide, 10,5 t, 4x4, high clearance, crouching gear). We came from the entrance of augrabies National Park and took the long gravel route through the mountains. Google maps said 1 h. We took more like 2,5 h with many stretches in crouching gear. Don't do it in dark. During daylight it's a technical drive but definitely manageable with a big 4x4 rig. Crouching gear highly recommended.

Second time camping here. Very nice scenic camping spots. Natural hot springs for a refreshing swim. Hike down the Molopo River Canyon.
Friendly, community operated.
Only 4x4 or high vehicle access, don't try with big rig or low SUV. Cost R256 per vehicle camping per night

Stayed over for two nights with our bushlapa. Beautiful place! Water not drinkable, there is electricity now but it was off during our stay. Henry and Lourens are very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions about the area. R265 for 2 people

An awesome place with new ablutions. We had a prime campsite with its own sink for your dishes. We saw eagles and lots of birds. The hot-spring is refreshing!

Very nice place! We enjoyed our stay a lot! If you‘re in the surroundings of this place DO IT!
4x4 would be good to have.
We payed 265pn2p. Beware of the scorpions when it’s getting dark! And it can be very windy and hot in the nights in the canyon.

The nicest campsite which is closest to the pools have a sink with running water and a long drop toilet. There are 2 pools and a natural rock pool which is cooler. There are also hiking trails and 3 resident black eagles that are easily spotted in the sky. Paid R135 pp
