P80pppd & P30pd for vehicle. Very close to main road, so quite noisy.
Sandy sites with power, ablutions & wash-up area.
Ok for 1 night stayover. Not busy at all, since pans are dry with main attraction absent i.e. waterbirds.

we wanted to do a day visit at the Bird Sanctuary but it was closed... nobody there and a locked gate. Maybe they close for the winter season? so better call in advance if you come here specifically for this!

P395 for two South Africans camping incl. reserve entry fees.
Not very friendly reception staff who were asleep when we arrived around midday. Raked, sandy sites under sparse tree shade. Electricity, scullery, scattered braais and refuse bins, solar hot water showers but ablutions old and tatty. Noisy at night due to trucks passing on nearby busy A3 main road. Camping facilities & sites may be also used by building contractors working nearby. Fair condition sand roads lead out across pan to amazing viewpoint over vast water filled Sua Pan home to pelicans, flamingos and hundreds of other birds for which this place is famous.

Campsites are spacious and suitable for high/larger setups, well cleared and have big trees. Each campsite has a nice built in braai, large cement table and benches, so lots of workspace and seating. They feel like they are in nature (much nicer camp spots than Nata Lodge). However, the ablutions here are run down and I would rather wash in a bowl with washcloth next to my car, than step into those showers. Toilet doors have no locks or toilet paper, but they flushed. Washing up area had no surface to put the dishes on and it was infested with thousands of mosquitoes in the basins/pipes so could not wash up there. But if you can ignore the bad ablution facilities, the campsites are actually really nice and the staff are lovely. We visited mid May 2022 and Sua pan was full of water, it looked like a vast expanse of ocean. We saw a few pelicans and clusters of Flamingo, also many blue wildebeest, jackal, Kori Bustards and other birds. We loved the beautiful scenery of the flat grasslands amongst the pans. I will return here.
Cost: P80 pp camping; P100 pp daily park fee; P35 per vehicle daily. But unlike the National parks, if you arrive today and leave tomorrow, you just pay one day park fee instead of two days.

The Nata Bird Sanctuary is an important breeding site for the greater and the lesser flamingos. 8 km drive from the entrance gate you arrive at the platform where you can admire the sunset.

The campsite ground is inside the Nata Bird Sanctuary, ran by the Nata Conservation Trust. Braai areas, running water for cleaning dishes, toilet and shower available. It is close to the entrance gate.

Prices for internationals are 100 pula entrance fee, 50 pula for the car for the visit at the Bird Sanctuary. Campsite fee has an extra cost.

Price still the same, few sites fit big rig, we came after rainy day so the roads were fluded so we couldn't drive into the park.

Very friendly welcome, the people here are quite dedicated! We arrived at noon, paid for entrance for one day and one night at the camping; with this, you can drive around the first day in the afternoon, and the next morning before leaving. Campsites are shady with water taps and electricity, ablutions and sinks for washing dishes. Noise from the road, but quiet at night. The night guard came by at sunset to say hello. We camped outside the actual campsite, next to the plain, at the picnic spot (with table, braai and wastebin only), nice view over the sunset, wildebeest walking by closely, flamingo flying across the pan.
