Very nice, clean and very friendly backpacker hostel.
The Owner May is such a kind person, she and Hassan helps with everything!
They do have different types of rooms, dorms, family rooms, rooms with shared ablutions and also private rooms. The rooms are all a very nice and well maintained garden.
You can pitch up your tent in the nice garden.
The rates can include a full english breakfast.
There is also a small menu for lunch and dinner - yummy!
The best place to stay in Masindi!!!

OK for a cheap night; we stayed here before an early morning meet-up with Deo for the Chimp trekking. Room for 4p for 150.000. Don't expect much, rooms are dirty, we even found a dead mouse on the floor, and holes everywhere so mosquitos in the room. We'd rather sleep in our rooftoptents, but this was more convenient since we needed to leave early morning. Good food and friendly people though.
Report Check-In250,000 for a room (only for couples not two friends of same sex sharing). It was possible to book it for a lot less on booking.con but we left as it looked a bit dingy and we found it too expensive!
Report Check-InInitially told to check in at the resort next door, who wanted to charge around 50,000 shillings pppn, but said they were different. When we insisted about checking in with the backpackers price was $10USD (forced to pay in shillings at slightly escalated exchange rate) even though we were clearly sleeping on the same piece of grass behind the resort. not sure if we would have got swimming pool access and breakfast with the resort.
Left early next day so didn't get to use site much. loud restaurant and bar at night from other tourists staying in resort but decent facilities.
Great place to stay before or after Murchison Falls NP! Really friendly staff. Camping $10, dorm $12, breakfast $5, access to swimming pool $3. There is a lovely campsite surrounded by trees, but because of these trees there is no space to park your car next to the tent. That's why I chose for a dorm, which is also descent and clean.
