For a Quick stop nice. Right next to the Neckar with a beautyful view to the castle. Close to the halfpipe.

Great place, in weekend staying overnight allowed other days it seems that you need a blue parking disc (2 hours). Make sure only to park on the river side and only where the road ends (near the bridge) toilets open may-oct. 8am- 12pm
Report Check-InWe stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. At this part of Uferstrasse you can park for free and it‘s allowed to spend the night here as well. Yes, you can‘t sit directly in front of your van because of the cicle way. But that doesn’t matter for us, we enjoed the large grassy part anyway. There are toilets available. Perfect spot to visit the city (20-30 mins walking).
Report Check-Init is allowed to stay with a camper at the uferstrasse. directly beside the neckarwiesen. the problem is, it's a normal street, so you can't sit directly in front of your camper. if you take the place in this description, it is possible, but directly behind a cycle way. in the evening, the place is a meeting point for skaters and young guys with "funky" cars (bmw 3 series with low budget tuning parts... :-)). so: it' s better to take one of the places at the uferstrasse and sit down at the neckarwiese...
there is only a public toilet at the uferstrasse, no shower! but: free wifi (public wifi "neckarwiese"!) and from the mariott hotel on the other side of the neckar.
