Checked in here today on my bicycle trip down the Nile. I got a single room with private bathroom for 150EL. The receptionist speaks a little English and allowed me to take my bike into the room. Certainly above the standard of budget accommodations with a private fridge, wardrobe and all in all in a clean state. Just around the corner from Fondos Restaurant mile and shops. It’s right next to the railway, but hey, name a quiet place in this part of Egypt.

We arrived by bicycle (with our police escort as usual) they wanted to charge us 350egp for a double room. We ended up paying 250egp. Room is clean, with fan and a/c, balcony and fridge.
Room on the backside of the building, so nice and quiet.
