Description
An interesting old rancho with a small wetland pond and a mysterious stone structure. The huge hollow stone structure is very cool inside. it is private property. I suppose you could dry camp nearby. I drove from Loreto and the road was OK until the descent. I used 4WD LOW to control.

Mot that mysterious - El Horno means The Oven.. I asked an old guy in San Javier and he said that it was used to slake limestone to create building lime - the old mortar binder before Portland cement.
