This Bass Pro allows overnight parking. Was told 2 nights is no problem, and if staying longer check in with the store who will let their security patrol know. Close to the highway so some road noise but lots of trees and shade in the lot! Six Flags is right across the street so we arrived late after visiting.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Huge parking lot! We went in to check with customer service about spending the night. They called Ralph (manager of some sort and REALLY nice!) who came and said, “RIM (the management company of the whole mall) doesn’t allow overnight camping. However *wink wink* if you WERE to camp here, you’re camping at your own risk and if you WERE to park here at your own risk *wink wink*, please park away from the building.” I like Ralph! Told him that I hear him loud and clear so we dropped jacks and are getting ready to take off for the Riverwalk downtown. I’ll update if we get impounded or anything. Safe travels, all!
Report Check-InExcellent. A bit of noise but not bad during sleeping hours. Stayed near the boats. Great cell signal.
Report Check-InSpent the night in the small lot to the north lot of BPS next to the boats. Didn't ask for permission and nobody bugged me. Good night's sleep, just a bit of highway noise.
Report Check-InReliable spot with plenty of space. Fountain area is nice to sit and picnic or walk your dogs. Backlot by Lupe Tortilla/IHOP is quiet and usually empty, but no shade. Small lot next to fountains (North side of store) is shaded but gets busy early with Starbucks traffic. Some shady spots in aisles near the front of the store; good for SUVs or small vans.
Have stayed here frequently with no issues, but would check with basspro before staying consecutive nights.
Security vehicles patrol entire shopping center at night; more guards on foot and in carts around basspro during business hours.
Report Check-InRight off interstate 10. Came in on Monday night and tried to park in front lot closest to interstate but about 30 sports cars kept coming in and out. Then moved to back lot where others suggested near Worth Pkwy across from Lupe Tortilla Restaurant and was way better and quiet. IHOP across street so plan on having breakfast there with our family of 4.
Report Check-InOvernight allowed. Stayed on west side of lot near ER. A bit of noise from I-10. Very easy access if traveling east to west on interstate. Parking lot has some low hanging limbs so use caution. There is a back lot behind the waterfalls that would probably be quieter so next time I will try that.
Report Check-InLarge space in parking lot for all size RV or other vehicles. Wouldn’t rent camp. Police were frequently through while we were parked for single night. Lots of road noise and car traffic in parking lot all night even after shops had closed. Good place to stop for a rest and get back on road. Free is biggest consideration.
Report Check-InChecked with the store and RVs are allowed to overnight in the back of the lot. Security patrols the lot frequently. Lots of road noise from I-10. On Saturday nights, a group of a dozen people in sportcars meet in the lot before they go joyriding. Security warned us about them. Very loud and obnoxious.
