Big flat parking lot near ohori koen also useful for Fukuoka city by subway. Very quiet and empty at night, do not take the bus entrance if you have a high vehicle, there is a bar and you will get charged as a bus... the other entrance has no bar. Cars 24h 700, Bus 3000...

As described, great quiet spot, we parked in a quiet corner beside a trucker who was resting for the night. We did get stuck with a 3,000 yen parking fee instead of 700 though. I think some kind of camera checks vehicle size/height ( we are big ). Not outrageous for an overnight stay in a big city in any case, but, lesson learned !
