lawn, big trees for shadow, electricity and water. small site with around 10 sites but only two other campers. we had a nice private corner overlooking open field. Happy wil visit again. R260 night for two people and car. nice walk to a beautiful Karoo village with good restaurants, worth visiting.

Will recommend
Peaceful campsite on the end of town but in easy walking distance to everything. Limited shade so if it's busy you may be in the sun. Basic but clean ablutions. We paid R140 pppn
Report Check-InLovely campsite with lawn and loads of shade. The shower is one of the best we've come across and they even provide towels (and a bathmat at the shower - what luxury!)
We found it pricey as they charge per person and we travel with kids, but for the location, the setting and the luxuries, it's not unreasonable.
Nieu Bethesda is charming, almost surreal in its unique personality. Several restaurants (with vegan options) within walking distance and the campsite owner provides plenty of useful info.
And horses everywhere! Certainly no one-horse town 😉

As described earlier. Nice grassy site with some trees for shade, friendly owner and staff plus beautiful guesthouse across the street. Barking village dogs and calling peacock might keep you awake!
