Description

Beautiful spot in a small pit/valley. Out of sight of the road. We spent two nights here and were only visited by camels. Did not hear the road over the wind and the sea. Some initial shelter from the wind can be felt down in the pit but it's not completely wind free.

Directions:
Turn off the road and look for a small path that leads up the rocky ridge (see picture). We did not use 4x4 but some ground clearance is advisable. Once on top of the ridge, there is a small flat clearance. When you drive straight you will see another path that leads into the pit.

Great little spot all things considered. Out of sight from the road, but not far. Pretty little spot. Was a little tough to find at first. Road is north or the site…drive off the main road and you will get to a little quarry. From there, start heading south and you will see a faint track that goes up and over the ridge to a flat spot….continue straight ahead and the road drops down the other side. The spot is right at the bottom in pretty hard sand.

Quiet place on top of a hill, a lot of wind but you sleep well, 300m away, military vehicles pass several times a day but they don't say anything, recommended place
