lovely quiet spot right on the water. nicely hidden from the road, quite a few places to choose from out of the wind. not much rubbish by local standards. pelicans hang out on the rocks nearby.

beach just before paposo. we settled a little further north of this point. there is sand and pebbles, and it is possible to swim there is a sandy cove. the ocean is beautiful rolls constantly. very calm. a little waste. 4x4 recommended.

Report Check-InBeautiful spot on the water wirh mountains behind. Visible from the road but you can't hear it or really notice the sparse traffic. fishing boats cruise the coast in the morning.
Report Check-InVery beautiful place, 2wd low clearance is doable. Surprisingly there was no rubbish, but a dead sea lion.
Report Check-InWe stayed one night. Perfect spot. Not visible from road and very quiet. No campings between Huasco - Antofagasta. This good site too stop. Felt very safe.

If you ignore the rubbish it’s a nice place at a shell beach. Beautiful bay with waves. No people, no birds!

Report Check-InPerfect location by the beach. Lots of birds including pelicans. Very quiet, and if you go near the beach, it is hidden from the road and you don’t hear it, just the sound of the waves. Easily accessible with any vehicle. However, still a lot of rubbish. Safe.
Report Check-InVery peaceful. More road exposure than desired but calm and quiet. No one else around. Road traffic really dies down after dark. Many rock outcroppings do provide wind protection.
