Something not right?

Description

One of Florida's most attractive state parks, located almost directly at the beach. Large campground, has cabins, too. Sites are not small, and due to dense brushes and trees privacy is ensured. Good clean restrooms, big laundry, wifi hotspot at one point. Fishing, boating, swimming. Priced accordingly to the attractiveness, $47 per night.

Mega campground with everyone on too of each other. Completely packed in on the weekend. Cost more than other state parks too. One of my least favorite.

Dump station, we payed 10.70$ and we got potable water too.

Tent campers beware: you can’t park at your site, they are all “walk-in”. For us, this meant we had to go buy sleeping bags, couldn’t use our heater, kitchen, fridge, etc; because it’s all attached to the Bus. We specifically booked a site with electricity and they told us to “just buy an extension cord” (yes, 150ft from the site to the parking lot). The office staff are quite grouchy and will not respond to inquiries. We had 7 days of rain and there’s no shelter anywhere so we had to hang out in the parking lot. Their response: “go buy a tarp at Walmart”.

Do not stay at a tent site if you camp out of a van!!

The beach is the most beautiful we’ve seen in Florida, so we’ll definitely come back to the area someday and stay in a different place.
