Something not right?

Description

This is not the parking lot of the visitor center. The visitor center parking lot is only open 7a-7p. Standing in the VC parking lot with your back to the VC you’ll over look a dirt space. We parked out 23’ Skoolie here for one night. There was another car that pulled in next to us as well.

We had no issues with police, citizen police, or homeless people. There was also a decently clean porta potty in the parking lot of the VC that was open all night.

A small bit of traffic noise but not awful. CANNOT BEAT THE VIEW OF THE MOUNTAINS

we do like to come here sometimes, now we just spent 2 nights here and this morning found a paper with a threat on our windshield... ”tonight these windows go out, move out !” nothing official but a post-it... jealousy ? real threat ? we don't know but not taking chance of course...

It’s only a two minute detour off the Palm City Main Street and on the same road you take to get to the Sky Tram.

Report Check-In

The place was trashed and it was really busy with people who where just hanging around the lot. We didn’t stay the night.

Report Check-In

The gravel lot looks more like a laydown. The "lady" mentioned in couple of locations downtown greeted us at 2230 and told us to leave. There were plenty of nice spots though.

we spent 2 nights there no one bothered us. the parking is not the one from the visitor center but the gravel lot right beside it... you can't miss it :) beautiful view of the mountains with the morning sun too !

Report Check-In

the visitor center has signs up that say 7am-7pm no overnight parking but right beside the center is a big open dirt lot..one on the other side of the road too. I stayed here one night without any problems

Report Check-In

Stayed for a night and even part of next day with no problems. Another car did roll up around 9 though and were clearly smoking something. When they left there was a homeless man standing there, but he just walked off in the other direction. No problems but did seem a little sketchy.

Report Check-In

We parked in the dirt lot next to the visitor center lot. Some road noise. Didn’t get bothered and had a good night’s sleep. The visitor center paved lot had signs saying no overnight parking.
