New office since 4 february 2023, to get your carnet (CPD or ATA) stamped.
It is located near truck scan.

you must go there now.
Friendly officers, it took us about 10 minutes (they don't check if your are with the vehicule : as the traffic conditions are awful, we didn't go with our motorbikes in Dakar)

Very easy! We were 7 days overdue and it was no problem at all. We got stamped in for the whole period of validity of our CdP when we asked for the „maximum possible time“. Extremely helpful guy, answered all our questions. You need copy of vehicle registration papers and passport.

Just a heads up, not the place to come to get your passavant extended. Border police told us to come here, but you actually need to go to the customs office 4 km away in the Place de Independence in the AXA bldg, 4th floor.

Very easy and fast. The officer just forgot to take his part of the paper out, we had to remind him. Copyshop in the same building.

from CVD I took a taxi. opening hours 9h30. took 10 min. I have prepare ATA form copy Car paper (carte grise) copy passport all for free. really better to took taxi lot of traffic jam. and no parking place.

Super straight foreword process, like everyone described, so far. Just keep in mind you need to be with long trousers, they did not let me get in the building with shorts :)

Exactly as described..fast and w/o charges (copy of passport and car ID required). Office on ground floor/left hand/ second door. People around helpful and friendly.

Nice and easy. Got in and out in 10 minutes. Traffic jams are horrendous though.

Got there at 15h30 (they close at 16h) it took 5 minutes ! Just ask which office, knock at the door and the officer will stamp your carnet. They asked for my a copy of my passport and a copy of my Carte Grise !

At the port nord of dakar, you can get your carnet de passage stamped. The guy that does the stamping is on a break between 13 h and 15 h.
Take a copy of your papers with you (there is a copy place next door).
Everything took us about 20 minutes.

Beware of the huge traffic jams if you come here. It took us 45 minutes extra.
