Great quiet spot, no issues. Parked in the ice centre/hockey club parking lot that was still virtually empty in the morning. Some noise from the road, but it's not that bad. Nice walking path too to walk the dog

Park just across the street at the Nanaimo hockey club, not a car in the parking lot, otherwise the lot was full by 8am … great place for overnight parking all size of RV

Awesome pool and showers! $14CAD for a family of 5. Wave pool, lazy river, lap pool, deep end, 3 water slides, etc. Use the Universal Shower Room for private showers. Excellent water pressure and hot! Friendly staff gave us a map and local tips, too. Plenty of parking for big rigs.

Nanaimo Aquatic centre. We hadn’t planned on staying there but after a hot tub, sauna, steam room combo we weren’t in the mood to keep driving. There were signs saying 3hr parking between 8 and 6 but no ‘no overnight’ signs. It’s not the most quiet and there are street lights on but if you need to - it’s a place to park your campervan, RV or trailer. Not suitable for tents. No one bothered us. The aquatic centre has washrooms, free wifi (2hrs a day), a fitness room, water slides, lazy river, wave pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, lane swimming - only $7 for adults or $3.75 if you just want to shower
