Arrived and a Brazilian overlander was already here. But they weren’t staying overnight as they said the area is not safe at night with only one van. Even though we would be two, they still weren’t comfortable, so we both went to Santa Cruz. It’s unfortunate because it’s a beautiful spot. After we moved, we found they were overly cautious and it probably would have been fine.
