This is a 15 space parking lot up on the bank 100 yards from the Colorado river. It was recommended to me by a local. We got here an hour before sunset and are leaving at 8:30 am.
Very quiet. No problems.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
This place is under reconstruction and fenced off. Limited parking and no access to the beach.
Report Check-InPlace is under reconstruction and fenced off - limited parking and no access to the beach
Report Check-InA few other cars on a Monday evening around 11 pm, but not sure if they were just checking out the river or if they stayed overnight. In the morning there were also cars with people walking their dogs etc but was not bothered. There's a neat trash dumpster at the end of the lot. Great spot. Full bars T-Mobile.
Report Check-InNice spot. Sharing it with 2 RVs. Pretty windy but nice view of the river. Trash cans and picnic tables.
Report Check-InQuiet spot for the night. But someone drove up to our van in the night, and honked their horn over and over, then left. Probably a local? Just don’t linger here long and be polite and it’s probably fine.
Report Check-Incool little parking lot between the river and a golf course. didn’t get bothered, there was only 1 other van there. near a dumpster so you can throw ur trash
Report Check-InExactly as described with zero other people here, water level is good and FULL BARS of Verizon LTE (not 5G) but streams videos well and very quiet for a Sunday night in November.
Report Check-InPerfect during summer for a fresh swim before bed and in the morning. We stayed there one night and spend the day on the beach. A bit nosy with the boat and the JetSki but didn’t bother us.
Good cell reception with Verizon.
Small parking lot just past the marina sandwiched between a golf course, small park and the Colorado river. Some houses and businesses not far away. Quiet calm area. Stayed over Saturday night to Sunday morning and started getting some traffic in and out of the parking lot about 7am. Saw a sheriff drive by in the morning but no one bothered me.
Report Check-InStopped by to scout location just now. I am going to remove the RV/Big-rig friendly icon. this place is most definitely Not Big-rig (or most Class A or Class C) friendly unless it is under 15' long total, and only if nobody else is there.
Report Check-InDidn’t spend the night. Pulled up on a Saturday night and someone was having a fire and somebody else was seeming to have relations on the beach. Vibes felt off so I went to the other spot in town next to the river.
Report Check-InWell, took me long enough to do this. was almos 2 years ago, and this place sticks with me!
We occupied pretty much the entire river side of the parking lot with our class-A and tow, but only 2 more campers were there by morning. A vary magical place!
Super nice spot for a Night or more. We spend the day here yesterday cause the spot is Just in front of a nice beach in the río colorado, so we came ay 4 pm yesterday and we are still here (9 am). Súper quiet at night no one bothered us.
Recommend!
Stayed one night. A few people pulling on and out until midnight. After that, it was quiet. We were the only car parked for the night. The view of the sunrise over the Colorado River was breathtaking. I would come again.
Report Check-In4 bars at&t, nice spot on the river parked on a level asphalt parking lot. sandy Beach and Colorado River 50 yards. Mountains in view to the NE. dark and quiet, dumpster 5 yards
Report Check-InAs described. Perfect for a late arrival. 56 degrees at 6:00 am. Grateful, thank you! 😊
Report Check-InJust as described in other reviews, q small parking lot with no "no parking" signs. What a nice, little, pleasant spot right on the Colorado River. It feels like you have a private beach. I had 2 other people who stayed there who both said they found the spot on iOverlander. We went to the bar (walking distance) and had a really nice night. The bar/restaurant also has nice, clean bathrooms.
Report Check-InSame as described. Clean and well maintained Sound of vehicle passing but quiet enough. Lovey sunrise. Nice overnight.
Report Check-Inas described. had a great burger at the 19th hole. restrooms open at 8am. nice quiet spot on the river
Report Check-In10 feet from the CO river. Drinking spot for locals, lots of beer cans. We saw some little ducks paddling against the current. Nice view of the river and the city across lights up at night. Lots of small loops off the main levee road (washboard gravel). Spot was level for our 39 ft RV. No one bothered us, stayed 1 night. windy but quiet.
Report Check-InQuiet and clean. Parked on the bank of the Colorado river. Better than a paid campground!
Report Check-InTucked away little parking lot, right on the river as described. Super peaceful, was all alone all night but felt safe. There were some people across the river with a bonfire going, that’s how you know the spot is lowkey. Gorgeous sunrise over the river.
