Description

Nice State Park. I tent-camped in spot 17, I think one other person was tent-camping. RV spots were pretty packed. Decent bathrooms, looked like there was laundry. There's a gate at the front which closes at 9:00 p.m. on weekdays and 10:00 p.m. on weekends. Camping is 50% off if you have an America the Beautiful pass

Lovely state park for camping. It cost 24$ for a primitive site after all fees/taxes. The hookup section was full but there was lots of space in primitive. Nice hot showers and clean laundry facilities. Great place to chill in a hammock (byoh).

Good place for showers even if you aren’t staying. Wasn’t stopped or bothered by anybody when I came in for the day.

Nice spot! I stayed in an unimproved tent camping spot. It was quiet, I think there was just me and one other person tent camping, but lots of Rv sports were in use. It has laundry + bathrooms and showers. There's a gate that closes at 9pm on weekdays and 10pm on weekends. If you have a America the Beautiful pass it's 50% off to camp here.

Great state park! Situated right on the river for some gorgeous sunset views. Staff was super friendly. I opted for the primitive camping which ran me $18 a night and just hopped into a developed site to top up on water before I headed out.
The toilet/showers are individual, clean, A/C cooled rooms which felt like quite the luxury. On-site laundry was well maintained and takes quarters or the PayRange app.

Nice little state park. Some noise from the highway if you're staying near the front. Not as many spots as Fontainebleau State Park further east so you may find this park fully booked at times. Fishing along the Tchefuncte River bank.
Otis House museum is currently closed.
Close to several local restaurants if you didn't want to cook over a camp fire.
