What a great hidden gem of a beach. The little pop-up town of “Driftwood” has been made by all the travelers adding piece by piece creating many large TP-style lodges.
Camping is $35, or 50% off for disabled, seniors, veterans.

No potable water but there were two vault toilets and three porta potties. The campsite is directly across from the parking from deus, which means that you could have people here all day, long until sunset. After that, they must leave as the park closes, and it’s only supposed to be for campers only that have paid the camping fee. two other campers very quiet night. Very dog friendly area.

There are not free sites. If you park overnight you are suppose to pay the $35. We did. It is right in a huge beach tables and fire rings. The ranger was very nice and offered us some firewood. We will came back.

Contrairement à la description, même si vous n’êtes pas dans l’un des 10 stationnements, vous devez payer les 35$ pour rester la nuit.
Si on ne voulait pas payer, on devait partir. C’est ce qu’on a fait.

Free day and night parking, but $35 to use a campsite.

There is a long stretch where self-contained folks can stay overnight in their vehicles for free.

Great beach,

Porrable toilets.

This is a regular campground with a $35/night fee. It has 10 designated spots, ports-potties, and garbage pails. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. A sign near the main road indicates that camping is not allowed, but the place is obviously open. I was one of 3 overnighters. Campsites are adjacent to the beach, but quite a bit back. You can hear the ocean. Plenty of driftwood on the beach.

Report Check-In

It’s open, we stay one night that’s others camping around. Very nice spot.

Wish we slept here instead of a sketchy pullout. This place is popping though! Half the sites are full with very comfortable weekenders.

campground/day use area that has about 10 spots.
its 'closed' for season for camping but day use is stil open so the gate is open. we camped there was another van and rv. maintenance guy came in the morning and didn't say anything.
very nice beach camp.

Report Check-In

Looks like an official camp site at certain times but sign says ‘closed for camping.’ However two groups had camped and road in quite overgrown so not sure if checks made. I doubt it. It’s the old road but ends here.
