Description

There are about 15 spots to park. All of them fill up early. On Frontage Road side, next to where the rigs park, is an open gravel area that can fit several cars and vans also. Pilot is open 24/7 and has restrooms and food. Ear plugs recommended because of passing train whistles.

There are some wall outlets in the Wendy's area next to a bunch of the tables.

Latest Check-Ins

Parked in the spot closest to the drive through. Wasn't bad cause the drive through was closed when i got here at 2am. i sleep through anything though, so for me, this spot was pretty quiet. very peaceful.

Report Check-In

Lots of room to park but VERY noisy. It is right next to Interstate 10, lots of big rigs, and a train that goes by and whistles frequently all night long. Make sure you have earplugs with you. Otherwise, you won't sleep. Good stop in a pinch as there is fuel, somewhere to eat etc.

Report Check-In

Spent one night here, parked on the Wendy’s side near the Pilot sign and it was quiet and lovely. The location is otherwise as others have described.

Was planning on driving further but after multiple hikes in Guadalupe this is as far as I wanted to go. As with any truck stop I always check the satellite pics to judge the size of the parking lot. Lot here is absolutely fine, however much of the car parking is right near the Wendy's drive through.

Report Check-In

Got caught in a dust storm on the way to El Paso so we stayed here for a long night. Pretty busy, well lit, felt safe, & open 24/7. The only continuous noise were the truck engines unless you park beside Wendy’s, then you’ll get more get highway noise.

Report Check-In

Nothing fancy, your standard truck stop. Clerk told me to park out front, not in truck area. Just one other overnighter last night.

Report Check-In

A little noise, mostly large trucks but stayed a night w/o any issues. Busy intersection. At least we had a clean bathroom in the AM. Thank you, Pilot.

Report Check-In

normal overnight at a pilot. they have laundry inside by the showers, Card or coin, and a small parking area for smaller cars. lots of truck parking. showed up late and they still had a few car/van spots.

Report Check-In

The world doesn’t sleep here, trains, trucks and road noise. Just beware otherwise good. Others are here as well, seems okay just noisy.
