Campsites and cottages on beautiful lawned area on a working farm. Neat ablutions with an outdoor undercover shower. All hot water from a woodfired donkey.
Lovely scullery area and great big communal lapa area.
Electric points at some sites.
Spectacular views of the surrounding berg and lots of walks on the farm.
Alison was friendly and welcoming. Camping cost R150 per person. Cell phone reception (MTN) intermittent. Contact Alison in advance, so she can open the gate: +27 79 351 0901).

Absolutely amazing place! Nice grassy sites, and lots of shade under big trees. Very clean ablution and always hot water (donkey). Host Alison is very welcoming and can tell you everything about life on a farm. The campsite is big, so I can't imagine it ever being full, but just send Alison a WhatsApp message (+27 79 351 0901) with your estimated time of arrival, so she can unlock the gate to the campsite. There are also several cottages available for rental.
Report Check-InIdyllic campsite, amazing views across the lotheni valley and the drakensburg mountains. Nice level lawn camp areas, with good ablutions and washing up/kitchen area. There is a really good covered lounge area which makes life much more comfortable when there is inclement weather. Decent 4G reception for vodacom around the lounge area. Honestly some of the most spectacular views in South Africa! And Alison (host) is really friendly and helpful.

this is one of the best campsites we have ever visited. This is the ultimate getaway, if you want peace and quietness. Well established campsite, clean ablutions. The scenery is simply mindblowing. Lovely hiking trails and 4x4 trails. We want to come again, and stay for a week. Morey and Alison are your hosts, so friendly.
