This is a huge new gravelled clearing in the middle of a fire damaged forest west of Loja off E35/E50 heading towards Peru border.
May not be accessible forever but not far off highway anyway

Same that the others points here. You can only enter by the motocross entrance, which can be closed during the week...
Report Check-InAll that is said is still true. Very quiet and safe. Police showed up but didn't say anything. Perfect spot for a quiet overnight stay and a short morning hike.
Report Check-Instayed here the night with no problems. In the morning an official showed up to take some soil samples. He didnt send uns away, but said that its not quite ok to camp here, and that 300m up the path is a better place. We found an empty motocross field, which would make a good overnight spot.
