Description

A large county-run campground near Tillamook Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The campsites are located on a hill that is a mix of grass, sand, and shade trees that open up into a scenic log-strewn ocean beach.

Many of the campsites are located fairly close to each other, with little privacy, but there are some campsites that are both large and private, with plenty of vegetation to separate you from other campsites.

Most of the campsites are setup for tent-only camping, but 73 campsites have full hookups and are suitable for both tent and RV camping.

4 bars of Verizon at a decent -110 signal strength but slow speed of 8 mb/s in the evening.

Latest Check-Ins

A very big campground and can get confusing but not terrible for the price. It’s quiet and you can hear the ocean rumbling

Report Check-In

As others have said expensive but it is a very nice park. Easy beach access. Try and avoid on weekends and holidays as it gets very busy and can get loud and rowdy at times.

large campground with range of site options, I chose large rent to park 24' RV in and cost $38 which is still expensive. lots shade and space right on beach so very nice but like most of Oregon overpriced compared to other states.

If you are willing to stay farther away from beach access, you get a pretty spacious flat camp spot in Oregon nature (ferns and sand and Spruce). Nice respite in a beautiful, but crowded, part of the Earth.

There are well over a hundred sites here ranging from tent sites to full hookup sites and also five cabins. There is a registration fee of $11 per registration for the first night added to the following per night fees. One tent and one vehicle $22 per night. ( no trailers or RVs). My 18' TT was $27 + the $11 = $38. Full hookup are $33-38 plus registration fee. Sanitary dump is included. Day use access to all Tillamook county parks is included. The site was in the trees, clean, spacious, and private, mostly because there are so many sites that are not being used. It was quiet except for the distant sound of the ocean surf. There is beach access and fishing access. 4 bars of Verizon at a decent -110 signal strength but slow speed of 8 mb/s in the evening.

Typical campground. Pricey but so is everything else in the area. Plenty of walk-in sites this time of year.

Showers closed. Assuming for covid but doesn’t say.
