Something not right?

Description

Smaller campground perhaps. Wifi. 250 per person. Currently almost full. Lot of Uruguayan youth, but could be the place. Big rigs is not a good idea. For us it was already a just fits location.

Conseguimos parar bem tranquilos pois havia somente nós no camping. É próximo a praia.

Basic campsite, open all year. Hot showers available. Only for small vans (Volkswagen T#) size. Paid 300 U$ per person for a night.

Possui wifi. Diária de 300 pesos por pessoa.

Avoid this camping place. The owner is very rude and unfriendly.
We didn't want to stay there, but asked for the price for a bath. He told us 100 pesos per person and he seemed really annoyed that we didn't want to overnight there. My husband turned to me to tell me the price and the owner started yelling that he changed his mind, cause we didn't accept his offer immediately, which according to him was a very low price and that we should go somewhere else. Absolutely rude behaviour.

Alright campsite, basic infrastructure. Due to high season the bathrooms are not in the best maintenance, but they are not gross. for hit water it will depend of the shower. for cooking you have this spots to cook you grab the firewood on the road, there are plenty. WiFi only works close to the reception, that sucks. many camping spots and some cabins with hammocks. there is electricity in many of the spots, can't complain about that.

Really easy going people managing, TBH they couldn't really keep track of for how long we stayed. I stayed from New year's Eve until the 10th.

We were there off season and were asked for 250pp PLUS 250 pesos per day to plug electricity on our motor-home (van). The men in charge was not friendly at all. It seems a camping mostly for tents. Did not stay.

Nice campground but WiFi only at the office, water was cold (Off season, end Novembre). With a motorhome stay on the streets, we where at the campground in the middle and got stuck, it took 3 hours to come out. Owner was not helpful. Paid 250 ppp.

Report Check-In

nice place, only one open during off season, hot shower due to solarpanels, wifi weak, better at office

Report Check-In

Small campground with some maintenance to be done and partly submerged after recent rainfall (it's off-season - they may get it right before summer). Bathrooms very dirty the first night, cleaned the next day (after making a remark about the dirt).

Hot showers: all showers are fed by one kitchen appliance, operating on gas. Sometimes doesn't start (I had to fiddle with the settings).

Price a little high for what is offered, but the location makes it worth it. Stayed 2 nights, used the day for a 20 km beach walk.

Report Check-In

Definitelly not open all year long. Phone number listed at the entrance was disconnected. At least on Jun when we've been there. We were told by people around El Diablo Tranquilo hostel is the only one open at this offseason time.

Uyu 250/pers. camping-car inclus. Wifi, eau, électricité, vidange.

According to Marcelo (+598 91 730 817), official, the owner does not want motorhomes nor trailer, but he receives, especially in low season.

we confirm the last check-in. Additional info: it is open all year.

A bit off season, though the village was humming for the Easter holiday...
Quiet, hot water available gas and solar but the gas didn't kick in for us, and only queried it when leaving...
Some trees but too small for much shelter...and we had quite stormy weather.
Toilets fine, just post summer neglect, leaves and branches...250 pesos per person
A good 20 minute walk to the main village and beach - great empanadas and cruisey crowds enjoying Easter break!

Very peaceful campsite but little shade (a tarp is useful). Clean toilets and hot showers. No loud music, mostly hippies and families. Price unchanged. The WiFi is awful.

nice place to stay, also for a few days. entrance is only for smaller rigs. clean toilets and hot showers. friendly owner couple. in juli, we were alone. you can walk to the best shoppingmarket in town, 20 minutes. open wifi at the reception. we paid 400 per day.
