Staff will give you access to a room to use the bathroom and shower. Restaurant with bar on site.
Good price/quality ratio here on a double room 50.000 Tsh/night, breakfast included. Clean, nice room. Hot shower (electrical). Friendly and helpful staff. Camping would’ve been 20.000 Tsh/pppn. So it’s better value to take a room. Big compound, lots of safe parking space. Breakfast was nothing special and really light: toast and an omelet. The restaurant’s food was bad, though cheap, but don’t bother. Same Swiss owners as for the workshop, hospital, zoo (this does not sound good) under the ICC (Ifisi) brand.

Perhaps the best place to camp in mad Mbeya! The ICC staff are kind and helpful and one can indeed camp in one's vehicle right next to a room with a bathroom and power point for which you get a key. Although conveniently close to the Tanzam it is not that noisy at night from passing trucks. Wifi is available at the nearby restaurant. $20 for 2 pn.

Report Check-InWe stood a night on the flat parking lot. The price is still at TZS 20'000 PPN. We did not use an infrastructure, but this will be provided if needed. Truck noise from the adjacent main road. Otherwise beautiful landscape. So or so, good for one or more nights on the way from or to Zambia.

Report Check-InStandard price is 20,000 tsh pppn, we negotiated to 15,000 but they weren't best pleased. They opened a room for us to use the toilet and shower but other than that no facilities (electricity, water, braii). We were in a big rig and we're told to park in the car park on a slant, not ideal but OK for 1 night if you arrive in town after dark.
Staff are friendly but the place is set up to rent rooms and host weddings, not for camping. Better to go to Utengele coffee lodge for a bit more.
The place does not accept cards, cash only in shillings or unfavorable rate.p
Report Check-InWe only ate at the restaurant while our car was serviced at the nearby mentioned mecanic (same swiss owner). The pizza is great (10.000) ! We also visited the zoo and small museum nextdoor, the kids enjoyed it a lot (1500 for kids and 3000 adults).

Report Check-InNot set up as a campsite as such, but you can camp on grassy area next to the rooms. This means that for campers no specific braai or fire spot, bins, power or water supply (except from inside the room). They opened a room for us to use the bathroom facilities, room was clean but the power was not available in the morning so showers were cold. Restaurant food good and reasonably priced. A perfectly adequate stopover.
Standard price is TZS20,000 pppn, but we negotiated to 15,000 pppn.
Good stopover. Don't miss the restaurant - the Chicken Cashmere at 8000 is well worth the money.

Report Check-InAs described. The price rised up to 20000 Tsh. After long negotiation we paid 15000Tsh pppn. It is a good place for stopover or more. We stayed two nights and drove to World's End View Point at Mbeya Range. A very good road and you will have breathtaking views if the weather is fine and there is no dust.
Report Check-InGreat spot with good facilities. Dinner from 5,000 shillings pp, and the same for breakfast. We camped for 15,000 shillings pp after negotiations, we just said our friend Roger was here last month and paid 15,000, they seemed happy enough. Dogs more than welcome.

Report Check-InA very large complex that offers camping although it felt a little awkward. Not really developed as a campground and offered no shade for the tent. However the prices for rooms are very reasonable so we opted for that. Food was also good and inexpensive. Wifi basically nonexistent.
Report Check-InIt's not a campground, but it can be if they make some facilities, because the place is huge! There is a hotel, guesthouse, an excellent restaurant (best curry in a long time!), terrace, playground, open bandas for sitting and lots of parking. Camping on the huge grassy area next to a room for ablutions and charging of devices (C4 in my case). 10.000 pppn. Breakfast (eggs, toast, some fruit and thee and coffee) is 5000. Quiet at night. Hot and clean shower but badly maintained. Same goes for the toilet. Wifi wasn't working when I was there.

Report Check-InNot great for camping and refused to open a room for us even though the place was dead. So we just got a basic double room for 50,000 including breakfast. Not bad. Nice views and the did at the restaurant is okay.
