Description

Perfect spot on the side of a quiet road. Not too much foot traffic or vehicles after 9pm. Lots of cafes around. Would not recommend for rigs over 20 feet as parking may be hard to find. Also, many low hanging branches. Our van is 3m tall and we hit a few of the smaller ones.

Latest Check-Ins

Couple of days ago I stopped at the adjacent Commercial Parking lot to park my vehicle for the day while I was sightseeing Centro. The Parking lot was full. Based on overlanders reviews for day parking and camping, I picked this safe spot so I can park my vehicle during the say. My vehicle has RTT, signs, awning..... etc. it really looks like a tourist vehicle. if anyone wants to break the cat, this is the obvious choice. I parked it here, windows all covered. No problems at all.
last night I want to the Chivas football game at 4:00 pm. I parked in a nearby secured lot. I will add to ioverlander. When I came back at midnight I had to move the car since the lot closes at 1:00 a.m. I came back to this spot.
I parked overnight here and camped out. No problems at all. Great for day and night Parking in sun so solar panel can charge my lithium battery.

Got to the Parking Lot that had no room for our van the guys there suggested us to park on the street right around the corner under a big tree. Super quiet street and we also got a free ( open ) wifi with full signal to upload our YouTube videos and watch some Netflix.

We first wanted to stay in a secured parking but they were either full or not allowed us staying in the van so we parked here for one night and it was super quiet and felt very safe.

There are a lot of small and quiet streets in this area, did stay on one of them, under a big tree in shade, without any problems. Nice walk until central tourist spots (around 40min)

We stayed here 2 nights, it’s a good spot to park in Guadalajara, with almost every other street being paid parking. It’s nice and close to a ‘market’ of great restaurants and bars that’s open late and has bathrooms. A short drive or under an hour walk to the city centre of cathedrals and Libertad mercado. If you leave from this spot in the morning, just don’t expect a free space back until the afternoon though. Overall, quiet and felt safe. Fine Telcel phone service.
