Great spot for the night on the way to Big Bend. Quiet, inexpensive at $6 and can stay up to 14 days. Pit toilets, trash, table and fire pit at camp side and shaded tables and grills available. Water available at visitors center. Great Verizon service.

All BLM campsites should be like this. Roads were in good condition. Plenty of space, quiet, easy to self-pay at the machine, trash and toilets, good cell service. Sites were not quite level was the only nitpick.

I think the tide went out on this place a while ago! No lake to be seen, just dry scrubby land. We moved on to Governor's Landing and weren't disappointed.

Nice campground, quiet. Picnic table, grill some sites have canopy. Good Verizon signal. Pit toilets. Dumpsters. No water. This campground is not on the lake but is about 2 miles from a boat ramp. Easy access to Del Rio.

Report Check-In

Great site to stop for a night or two, overlooking a lake especially if you are working remotely since the cell coverage is full bars. In the desert, big sky country, incredibly clean pit toilets. Texas may be the lone star state but here, in the dark, there are a million stars! Nice ramadas over sites, bear-proof trash cans, grills, fire pits. $10 a night, $5 with a senior pass.

Nice clean campground. Hardly anyone here so I had a whole corner to myself. A few bees started coming around @10am- not really loving that but when the big ass wasp showed up and didn’t promptly leave, I was ready to go. Overall a fine stay

Report Check-In

Sites are nicely spread out, clean pit toilets, BLM staff came around regularly, which made us feel secure. Quiet. Watch out for the goats heads, our pup had a rough go of it.
