United Arab Emirates
Gas filling station. It took them about an hour to fill our Swiss bottle. An adapter of the Euro filling set was necessary. Apparently they are not allowed to sell gas to private persons, only to dealers. Therefore it took so long. On our receipt it says as customer: unknown. 6 Euro for 5kg gas. Pretty expensive.
Opening hours: 09:00-14:00

they told us a fixed price of 550 dirhams on us having 1, 2 or 3 bottles of LPG. they don't have adapters and don't make propane. we have found much more effective and less expensive elsewhere.
Report Check-InAfter 4 days of trying the conclusion is that they do NOT fill LPG tanks, NOWHERE. None of the places marked on iOverlander were willing to help, rules and regulations forbid it. Only possibility in the UAE is to buy one of their bottles, but getting it fitted to the EU size was impossible. We will try to get LPG in Oman, but fear it will be the same situation there.
