Description
Campsite in remote area of Malawi with well maintained composting toilets (no smell!) and very nice hot showers. Camping price is $10pppn which includes a small bundle of firewood if you would like. Facilities manager is always on site and does not speak much English but he will be sure that area is clean and a fire is burning for the hot showers.
Sandy ground is flat and soft.
No electricity at campsite but there is a small lodge adjacent to campsite that might have power. It appears to be very well maintained due to the bird tour groups that come to bird in the miombo/dambo habitat.

Beautiful campsite next to a stream. Water is really clear and clean.
Compost toilets and warm showers. No electricity at campsites but we were provided with lights. Have a braai area with a grid.
Road through the villages can be tricky if you follow Google Maps.
Report Check-Inprevious description is still the same. Very nice to camp along the river! And nice hiking of mountainbike trails.
Make sure you do the reservation and payment in the office in Lilongwe, section 3. (It's close to Mabuya camp).
