Locally-owned hotel with clean and spacious simple rooms with fan. Single 50, double 70. Easy access to public transportation, walking distance from the castle. This seems to be the best budget option within the city center. Large parking lot. Not sure if camping is allowed (I'm backpacking).

Nice hotel, clean rooms, with fan and shower. Very kind owner, 120 ghc for a double room, but we negotiated and he made us a price. Close to the city center, 15min walk to the castle and the fish market. There is a parking inside, but the door is not tall (photo). It does not fit for big rig, but there is space to park outside.
