This is a "luxury beach view resort" (private property), but most of the apartments (app. 10) seem to be empty. We just pulled in through the main entrance to ask if we might stay overnight. But the office was locked and empty. So immediately after passing the gate we turned left and drove about 50m towards the beach. Found a nice, quiet, clean and shady place with perfect ocean view. The beach (dark sand) is almost empty except for some Quad riders.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

We stayed one night and nobody bothered us except the sand flies...since there was no wind.
Wonderful beach but the location is on private land. As we arrived a Canadian fellow showed up in his ATV and told us we are doing fine (He lives few houses further up with 2 red maple leafs waving in his garden). A worker the following morning first explained that we shouldn't stay there but after 15 minutes of chatting all was good. We stayed 3 nights there. Great...
