There we were several of us camped overnight. The RV next to me had been there the night before as well. It was a beautiful place to spend the day and the night. Some loud vehicles around dark but otherwise quiet. I was not bothered.

Report Check-In

Definitely closed now. Barricades on both ends, no way to get into the beach area.

Report Check-In

The beach area was barricaded and fenced off. I was disappointed because this is one of my fav spots. I've been here many times and stay up to 3 nights. I assumed it was closed from the storm damage I checked the local website and that was confirmed but no mention of when it will be reopened I'm hoping by spring🤞🏾🤞🏾 I will update then.

As described. Great spot for sunsets and sunrises. Even saw and heard! a liftoff at 2am. We were here on a Saturday night so there was a lot of cars/trucks coming and going. Noisy but until midnight. 8 other vans in the space. The spots in the bushes washed out by the latest storm.

Report Check-In

This area is currently blocked off with construction equipment. All the vans and RVs were tucked into the grassy area near Parrish Park that's marked as trailer parking only.

It’s fun but the bugs are terfrible. We were eaten alive last night and after the sun went down the following day. We decided we’d be better off finding another spot. Also, the spots are not level. Plenty to choose from and I’m sure you could get level with some blocks. Sunrise was great!

It does not get more perfect than this place. Slept here for a night: no issues. You are right on the beach as described by the previous campers. It’s amazing.

I was worried about parking too close with changing tide but I guess because you are not actually on the ocean, it is not an issue. The water hardly rose or fell throughout the day.

I came in around 10 pm and every spot was open. I originally went to the more secluded, bush spots, but I was greeted by a pack of raccoons. There were probably 4-5 of them just on the beach by the trash cans. They take shelter in the bushes. I didn’t want to test it so I left, got back on the road and immediately almost hit another raccoon running across the road. They are everywhere. After circling through I ultimately decide to pull into the first section with bushes to my left but no trash cans. This worked perfectly. Didn’t see any raccoons near my car and felt safe enough to roam about in the morning. I would have gotten out at night but, warning: there are a ton of mosquitoes in the area. I avoided getting eaten alive and went to sleep for the evening.

If you’re stopping in the area, this is the site for you!

This place is SUCH a gem. There is a no overnight camping sign, but it’s all the way at one end of the stretch of parking. I and the many other vans that were here were all the way at the other end. The spots are AMAZING. They’re about 15 feet from the water, and there are several that are pretty private (bushes and trees in between cars). I’m a female solo traveler and felt super safe here… that’s usually the case though when there are a bunch of other vans. And oh my GOODNESS it’s just so beautiful. Road noise wasn’t too bad at all. I would suggest getting here a little early to grab one of the more private spots. When I got here around 7:30 they were already all filled up.

Stayed here for the weekend in a Purple class C RV with a Bus life friend. No problems. plenty of other campers in all size rigs that overnighted as well.

Great, great, great. Views, waterfront, palm trees, people enjoying them all. A couple of loud cars before bed, no problems. Police drove through with spotlight looking for partiers, no worries. 3 days, two night, excellent.

Nice spot on the water. Was directed here by police after being kicked out of the nearby gator creek road spot. No camping or overnight parking is permitted on that road (NASA property) however the police officer was very nice and directed us to this IOverlander instead. Was quiet at 1:30am when we pulled in but I could see it being loud on a Friday/ Saturday night

Been here for 3 days, and honestly, I dont get the bad comments.
first night as been the most quiet night of our trip, then 2nd and third night a bit of music until 10pm, then quiet as the first night. The location is incredible, we're directly on the beach it's just awesome!
lots of trails and people practicing different types of sports, We really like this place! we'll be back for sure!

We stayed for 3 weeknights and had a lovey time. I could do zoom calls with our weboost and sprint hotspot. Public restrooms closer to the bridge. Highly recommend!

Just wanted to note that we have stayed here 2 nights (Monday-Tuesday) and had no problems with noise, so it might just be a weekend thing.
Lots of spaces along the water off a relatively quiet road, gorgeous sunsets, lots of horseshoe crabs. Also saw several raccoons around so don’t leave anything tasty outside.

Stayed here the night of 12/30. We saw a few other reviews mention noise, but wow, was it annoying! Every few minutes cars/motorcycles would come blaring through the parking lot with music blasting or speeding down the road with the engines revving. It went on until midnight at least. Gorgeous spot overall, lovely sunset, and other road noise was at a minimum. Just unfortunate that the local hooligans stir up the peace and quiet. Perhaps it’s not the case during the week outside of the holidays? Otherwise you’re in for a rough evening.

12/30/21 no issues piece and quiet w o w

I had stayed across the street the night prior (on gator creek rd. - check out the description under the title “waterside” for info) and had decided to try my luck at this popular spot despite knowing it’d probably be noisy. It was. . Loud bass music and I think everyone in town either drives a loud diesel or has a hole in their exhaust. 😄

louder than a typical wal mart parking lot or rest area, but if you can tolerate the noise or ear plugs, you will enjoy the sunsets, incredible proximity to the water, and the convenience of being close to town (with breweries and coffee shops) and all to see and do (including a lot of free stuff) around the Canaveral Seashore and Merrit Island Wildlife Refuge.

There were at least 5, maybe upwards of 10 at some point, rigs spending the night (pick-up truck setups like me, vans, Skoolies). Plenty of space for basically any sized rig, though the stretch of road is quite uneven in places.

If you’re looking for quiet, just head across the street and find a spot around the Gator Creek loop.

Report Check-In

Long strip of sand along the water. Train is far in distance. I didn’t take notice to the loud cars others have reported.

Out of all of the spot in the area this is probably the most reliable and relaxing.

Great place to see rocket launch on south side or road.

Report Check-In

this place is very nice for day use only. There is a sign no overnight camping.

Report Check-In

Really great spot! So lovely to park right next to the water.

There are some "no overnight parking" signs, but took others' advice in these reviews and just parked where there weren't signs. It's a huge lot so there are plenty of parking places.

There were cars that drove through with loud music a few times. But, the weather wasn't the best this night so I don't think it was as loud/busy as others have experienced here.

One of my favorite stops so far in Florida!

Report Check-In

Bad night sleep, dozer of modified car gathering noise from radio and also alcohol and drug make it worst, not recommended. Even the local who sleep in their car leave. Moreover, the Titusville police tolerate that mess

BEAUTIFUL spot. My dogs loved having the water just outside our van. Felt very safe. There was an officer stationed at one end. It seems like a spot local teens hang out in at night but we never had any issues. It quieted down after midnight.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for the NASA Lucy launch. There are pull offs on both side of road. Cops drove by and didnt harass us at all. Area got very crowded about an hour before launch. We could see and hear the entire launch, it was incredible. A great spot to camp and watch the rockets.

Report Check-In

Great spot for a couple of nights we have come here for multiple launches super fun right on the water park on the side with grass the sand side gets rowdy at night (nothing bad just music- can be fun if you’re into that thing :) )

Report Check-In

According to previous comments, there are places on the grass both sides of the road. Some places have No overnight parking signs. Some don't. I asked the sheriff and he told me : if there is no sign, you're fine. So just ensure you check signs. Very nice place.

Report Check-In

This is the most perfect place to watch a sunset, watch the people fishing, watch the jetsking and enjoy the night.

Report Check-In

Perfect place to park overnight and watch the rocket launch the next morning.

Report Check-In

There is a big “no overnight camping” sign right as you pull in. Must be recent so I didn’t end up staying here.

Report Check-In

Perfect location to spend the night. Can get a bit noisy with the road next to it but it’s a great spot for sunrise and space launch watching.

Report Check-In

As you turn into the parking lot on the westbound side, there is a grass area. We parked here and no issues at all.

Report Check-In

Great place to stay for the night! Right in the water and plenty of room. highly recommend. All size rigs welcome.

Report Check-In

great spot right on the water. stayed 2 nights.
A little nosiy. Stay away from boat launch site. Cars hang there on the weekend pound music and revving engines.

Report Check-In

Spent 3 nights here with no issues. Beautiful area and we saw a couple of dolphins from our door near the shore. We parked by the bridge in a little grass area right at the bottom of bridge. We also parked further down on the same side as well as opposite side of road. Make sure there are no "No overnight camping" signs directly where you're parked at and you should be fine. There were several class b vans parked along both sides of roads each night. Great place to catch sunrises and sunsets.

Report Check-In

Spent one night here, no complaints. Some raccoons around, watch your food.

Report Check-In

No issues Jan 2021 fabulous place we’re for sunrise and sunset great place

Report Check-In

Great beach side spot. like others have said, don't park where there are signs, but there is plenty of other spaces. Trash cans are available.

Report Check-In

Overnight camping is permitted where there are no signs indicating otherwise

Had an awesome stay here in order to watch the Space X launch. Well worth it for the sound of the waves. I don’t think it’d allowed normally because a security car waited around after the launch crowed cleared out...good for viewing an early morning launch though.
