Several spots along this coastline overlooking the beach. Two people set up with tents in the beach, Three bars on 3G with Telcel. We drove in with a regular Ford transit. (No lift or 4x4) could get windy here but we got lucky! Will upload photos when we get back to wifi

The road is not paved but it was very easy to get here with my Honda Element. I don't see a sign that says no overnight camping allowed. There are some small restaurants nearby. It gets windy here but a great view. Cell service is excellent. The terrain is solid as long as you don't drive down to the beach area.
Report Check-InPhotos tell the story, fantastic spot on the water. However, road in is dramatically undersold. Not sure if it's become worse or what, but it is EXtremely rough. 4x4 wasn't necessary, but it's very very rocky in sections (fist sized and larger) and very rutted, both perpendicular to the track and down the middle in spots. Ford E250 with a lift JUst got through several sections without scrapping. Cell signal is indeed OK-ish, place to ourselves on a Saturday. Google reckoned 26 mins from the Oxxo near Cerro Tetakawi, in reality it took an hour.
