Something not right?

Description

Large pullout off the PCH with no residents! Big enough that probably 3 cars/vans could park here and be well spaced out. No problems for trucks with trailers or big motor homes. Beautiful place to catch sunrises and sunsets. There is also spectacular stargazing opportunities late at night. I picked up the little trash I saw, so I hope it is clean for you (:

Report Check-In

Amazing spot for the night, very minimal road noise and had it all to ourselves for the evening. Pulled in past midnight and stayed til mid-morning with no issues at all.

stopped here to check it out. but didn't stay for the night. indeed a lovely. large pulloff on the west side of Rte 1. mostly though I came bc of the prior posters reports of seeing condors. But are you folks sure you saw condors? after 130 years since the last one was seen up here, a few were just released in early May 2022. no offense, but you were likely seeing vultures. many soaring above the trees across the road.

Great spot overlooking the ocean. I had the place for myself and felt super safe. The pullout is really big. Traffic is indeed very limited. And you can see condors!

Report Check-In

This spot is a gem! It’s next to a curved road so you would expect some traffic headlights/noise at night, but there are no cars passing at night so it’s a very peaceful spot. There’s plenty of space and an opportunity for some amazing sunset views with ocean sounds. Far enough away from any towns, so there are tons of stars in the sky. Had this place all to myself the past 2 nights. Also saw a California condor nest across the road and they are frequently soaring next to the cliff by this spot during the day. No beach access. Please keep this spot amazing!

Nice large pull-out, relatively level overlooking the ocean. about a half hour north of fort Bragg. there are bathrooms about a mile and a half down the road at State Park and dumpsters as well.

Report Check-In

Stayed here and it is really pretty. One other camper who was here watching the sunset before I got there. A bit noisy until 9pm or so. Afterwords there was minimal noise.

Report Check-In

great spot to spend the night. One other person staying there. Verizon and ATT signal were off and on. largely depended what part of the van I was in. I got anywhere from 0.4 mbps up to 10mbps

Report Check-In

Great spot to overnight. Will get headlights from cars going around the bend, but the traffic was very minimal, although we were here in January. Big spot for multiple vehicles, we saw 2 other cars pull over for the night. Beautiful sunset!

Report Check-In

Spent a night with no issues. It's by a road but the road traffic was almost non existent, so slept without disturbances. The sounds of the ocean overrides other sounds. One other car pulled in and left early morning. No signs.
