We parked our truck at the Peperboom campsite. It's a bushcamp next to a stream/river on a working farm but you are far away from the farming activities. They have 3 sites all with water and power plug-in. Very neat ablutions with a basin to wash dishes at the back of the ablutions. R250 per campsite max 4 people. It includes one bag of wood and a portable braai. Phone signal weak but you can manage. Koot and Jannie are very friendly. This seems to be the best camp in the area. The campsite also have a cabin called Peperboom loghouse with it's own toilet and basin. Very neat. R450pn for 2. There's also a permanent tent with a double bed R350pn. Mattresses for children. Tierklip is a self catering farmhouse 20km from the camp site and is available for bigger groups. Max 16 people. R800 for the first 4 people and R200 for every extra person. Linduli lodge 45km away consist of 2 Luxury A-frame wooden houses. 2 Adults and 2 children. R2300pn full board. Amazing stay a Peperboom campsite ! Would recommande 100%, you will meet the friendly owner Koot and his Kudu and sheep ! We enjoyed the farm tour a lot and liked the campsite in the grass under the tree, very peaceful and calm ! You will find plenty of nice activities to do in the farm !!
Report Check-InIt's a very nice place, with grass, and a very friendly owner, Koot. Electricity, hot shower, sink with hot water. 350 Rands for 2 persons. Very quiet and safe.
WiFi at 30m, near the Koot's house.
And...a friendly young "girl" kudu of 4 months old, named Boka, that has been saved from a fence by Koot when she was a few days old !
Nous sommes restés là 2 jours, avant de rejoindre Mountain Zebra NP, et avons beaucoup aimé l'accueil chaleureux, l'espace, les facilités et...Boka !

Report Check-InLovely place just outside Craddock. A huge pitch that is meant for 2 with a cute allocated bathroom (+hot water). A permanent tent on the left and a log cabin on the right but adequate privacy. Friendly hand reared cow and sheep. The site is on a Merino and Angora farm. They offer horse riding and tours of the farm for a fee. Firewood provided by the very lovely owners.
