Éste lugar, ya no alberga ciclistas. Dejó de funcionar luego de la pandemia. Nahuel (el dueño del refugio) pide a cada ciclista, que escriba aquí que ya no puede ofrecer más su espacio.

hermoso y Pacífico lugar, entre lago puelo y el hoyo,muy cerquita del bolson..nahuel es mecánico de bici, excelente cocinero y gran contador de anécdotas...abre las puertas de su casa y su corazón a bikers..podés tirar la carpa en el patio,tenés agua pura de montaña y baño con ducha caliente a cambio de una colaboración económica.... super recomendable pasar unos días compartiendo esa naturaleza que te embebe el alma...
(beautiful and peaceful place, between Lago puelo and El hoyo,near to bolson...nahuel is a bicicle mechanic, excellent cooker and great stories teller. He opens his house and heart door for bikers,you can put your tent in his yard in exchange for some money, it has pure mountain water, hot shower and big kitchen....I strongly recommend to stay a few days here).

I was cycling through Bolson and met a wonderful guy named Nahuel. He invited me to his farm and I helped him set up a Casa De Ciclistas. This campsite is ONLY FOR CYCLISTS. Below is a message that I wrote for him and you can also find him on WarmShowers.org too. I hope you enjoy your stay with Nahuel. He is also an excellent bicycle mechanic and fixed some problems that other bicycle shops couldn't fix.

Hello,
My name is Nahuel and my home is called "Las Golondrinas". Mother Earth and the bicycle have always been a passion for me since I was a child cycling with friends around Patagonia and traveling the world for bicycle competitions. Now I would like to share my experiences with travelers and bicycle lovers. That is why I'm opening the doors to my home "Las Golondrinas" to anyone who wants to find peace in Patagonia. I have lived here in the countryside for 35 years, only 1.5 km off of Route 40 between El Bolson, Lago Puelo and El Hoyo. There is a colorful sign at Kilometer 1907 with a bicycle wheel indicating the turnoff from Route 40 to go towards my home. Across the street from this sign along Route 40 you will find a grocery store owned by Guiseppe who makes/sells wonderful homemade cheeses, sausages, pasta sauces, local vegetables and essentials... as well as beer, wine and alcohol. I am also an experienced bicycle mechanic and can assist you with any problems you have. My organic farm has lots of flat areas where you can put your tent or if you prefer I have some floor space inside my home as well.
Las Golondrinas only works with your collaboration. Our goal is to constantly improve this space to create a wonderful environment for cyclists. If I am not home when you arrive there are signs hanging on the walls of my home which provide the general rules/introduction. There is no need to call or email beforehand... you can simply come as you are whenever you like. I look forward to meeting you.
