Ok for a stopover after the border (took us about 4 hours). Double room is 300 kwacha. Rooms are a bit dirty , lot of bugs walking over the bed. Room could do with a deep clean. We decided to set up our rooftop tent in the car park (which is quiet noisy, but at night it is fine). They still charge the same amount because you will use the room for the toilet/shower (which is a bit weird because you will not use the bed). Manager friendly and speaks good english.

Not a real camping spot but secure parking inside the lodge walls with guards.
Restaurant & Bar on site.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
We paid ZK100 pppn.

The T2 main road and roads in Nakonde are in a miserable state. Lots of road works going on and hundreds of trucks.

Clean, concrete parking place to stay. For 250kw we got a key from room to shower. The food in the restaurant was very delicious. Due to the nice garden and the very friendly manager maria, we decided to stay a second night.

Ok because it’s cheap. Rooms are kind of dirty…. But what you would expect of the price. Maria the managers is helpful and kind.
Food is pretty decent and cheap. WiFi is average. Security is ok.
Only come here if you are crossing the border from or to Tanzania.

Okay for a night if you can't reach a better place after crossing the border. Hot shower and even aircon in the rooms. I don't know the reason for such an increase on room rates but now they charge between 250 or 350 Kwacha depending on the bedroom (for 2 people). Camping in the parking lot would cost the same and it was quite full.

Same as described, Maria is very welcome and friendly, she let us connect to power in her office. 350K for a room for using toilet

As it was getting dark this was the only choice, they started with Kw350 for camping while a room is 250 so eventually we agreed on kw200. Just because I had nowhere else to go before curfew....

We stood with our truck camper for 2 nights in the parking lot of the simple Wannabes Lodge. The parking is oblique. Price: 350 KWACHA for 2 persons, the vehicle and good WiFi per night. Very friendly manager. Some noise during the night by the squeaking gate. Bar and restaurant as well as a night security.

This is a very nice and cheep Place 5 Km from the Border to Tanzania.
You can camp in the Garden or get a cheep and cleam Room for 80 Kuatsha.
Cold shower, good Restaurant and cold 🍺. Frendly Management, very well in speeking Englisch. Secure Parking.
