Something not right?

Description

12 minutes from downtown Bisbee,
At the junction of N. Old Divide Road and N. Juniper Flats Rd. on top of the tunnel. Small parking lot large enough for 3-4 small rigs. Stone monument. No signage. An alternative to “the Shrine” which had only one spot I could find. Little traffic and Hwy 80 is under you through a tunnel, so no noise

Latest Check-Ins

This is the base of Juniper Flats Road. This one is a nice level paved area and if you go up Juniper Flats Road, there are a number of large sites with good views. The road up is very steep in places and also quite rough. So big rig friendly for those sites near the top? Size wise, yes, it’s just a matter of whether or not they can get up here if you’ve got a good low range and drive slowly you should be fine. The cluster of three at the top does not show all the available sites. There are quite a few of them. Please remember to pack out what you pack in to keep these places open.

Stayed here for a night after getting into Bisbee area late. Had no problems and wound up working in the parking lot with great data from both T-Mobile and Verizon. Starlink was really good as well, but didn’t need it. Locals that live at the bottom of the hill did pull up and let us know there was a black bear that wondered on the trail next to it and to just watch for it.

Literally on top of the tunnel. Unique view

Arrived after dark. Looks fairly quiet and it’s flat…. Don’t hear any real road noise… couple of younger folks came blasted music for 15 min and left

We stayed here for 2 nights with no problem. It is flat and paved. This location is very close to Bisbee and has a nice view and a little walking trail. There was some noise from trucks passing below on the main road, but it was quiet at night. Someone recommended we head up North Juniper Flats Road to see the view. It’s a steep gravel road, but not too bumpy or narrow. We had no issue in our 2WD Ford Transit. Beautiful views!!

12 minutes from downtown Bisbee,
at the junction of North Old Divide Road and North Juniper Flats Rd. @ Continental Divide monument. Small trailhead parking area large enough for small self contained rigs. No services, no toilets, no signage, just trash bins and a level place to park. Right on the road but quiet at night. (If this is fun lol, there are also several decent sized pull off’s on the road between this location and Bisbee.)
