Description

Beautiful campsite. Possibility to stay in little bungalows or camp on site. Price for camping is 30.000 pp including the car. You can camp in the shade of palm trees 200m from the beach. Follow the signs from the junction in Koundinde. Place was hard to find at some point so ask for directions.

The place has a pool, hammocks and a very friendly owner, a French lady who teaches African dancing. The owner is a great cook and serves breakfast and dinner. There is electricity, water, toilets and a shower on site.

Latest Check-Ins

Everything as described in the other comments.
I took a mototaxi from a roundabout at the main road (N3 to Conacry). Took 35min and was 30.000 GNF.
I had 4/4 bars of LTE connection with Orange everywhere in the campground and the nearby village.

** Joelle told me, she will go back to France on 27.04.24 and stay there for around five months **

Just spend two weeks at Tomboliya village. Joëlle and Jean are absolutely lovely and the place is really peaceful.
It has a pool and clean toilets/shower.
You can eat here as Joëlle is a good cook for between 30k and 60k.
We paid 60k/night for 2 people and a car.

Pleasant and secure camping area a short walk to the beach. Clean toilet and shower.Location is correct, however Google maps or OSM will take you on a route through tiny village streets past peoples' homes. Instead turn left 1/2 km before the village at the end of the road. Added a picture of the sign but it is a square yellow one that says Deviation Pour Tomboliya 2 km. Starts off steep but quickly levels off into a good graded gravel road.

Seriously. If you enter into Guinea via Boké this is a must-stop to recharge. The route through Boké will inevitably be tough in some way and this place offers a fantastic place to relax, eat great food, drink cold beer, be near the beach, etc etc.....

Report Check-In

Fantastic place to chill for a few days. Important note. if coming from Boke do not take the road indicated by Google maps at the Koussaya junction instead continue further along to the next road near Toumobilya which is sealed the entire way except for the short access road to the camp.
