200m from the lagoon and Refugio Santa Rosa (free, but occupied when we were there). Vis a vis Nevado Tres Cruces. Great views in the morning. Supposedly it costs 4000 pesos per car to overnight, but nobody showed up to collect anything. It was a bit windy in the evening, but nothing like in SW Bolivia or Salar de Uyuni.

looking out over the Laguna. We parked near the Refugio building but it was not open. Nobody came to collect. As winter approaches, it appears that there are some road closures. Currently you can only drive the road to the Refugio, but in the summer, you may be able to drive around.
