Medolino Caravan Park | Established Campground

This is a caravan park so even it’s leafy and clean, it’s not country feeling. Site are really closed to each other.
Owners and staffs very helpful.

Lovely caravan park, clean and neat. I came with a Motorhome and the management cut the site’s trees for me to fit in, they also supply me with a braai.

i payed R180, safety, you can not reach the beach from there, long walk.

Exceptional caravan site. Lush vegetation, trees, and colourful shrubs everywhere give it a countryside feel.

Large grassy sites. Spotlessly clean ablution blocks and washing up facilities.

We booked for three nights and stayed seven.

The owners Johnny and Susan are so helpful and friendly and always around with advice and information.

Another bonus is the incredible variety of birdlife all around.

Dog friendly, birder’s paradise. Owner told us there are 140 bird species there. In our one overnight evening & morning birding, we probably saw 40! It’s very good! Purple heron, black crake, ibis, cormorants in three varieties, black-headed heron, common morgen, sun birds, Nysna turaco nesting pair, it was fantastic. Two ponds, lots of bullfrogs. Paintball area for the younger than us. Walked to the beach! Highly recommend as the showers and toilets were pristine, and the camp sights level. Super friendly owners!

As described by others. This is a safe place to overnight. The bathrooms are pristine. We paid R270 per pair per night. Recommended for sure.

Wonderful, quiet place with lots of lawn, trees and bushes. Everything absolutely clean, lovely & helpful new owners. Rates as of 01.01.23: R185 pppn, > 55 years young: R135

Lovely campground in Port Alfred, but it feels like you are somewhere in the country with lots of trees and well marked sites with electricity and running water. Lots of birds at a beautiful pond. Also have a coffeeshop that sells ice, braaiwood and serve a good breakfast.

Pet friendly. Beautiful grass camping sites with electricity and water.
Clean, well maintained ablutions and facilities.
Small dam with ample bird life.

Ah! finally a campsite as I like them! Generous spaces. Beautiful lawns. Impeccable sanitary facilities. Attractive price 130R p n. pp.

I recommend 200% it is a place where we like to stay with all the very clean amenities and above all the environment is idyllic 220R / 2persons with electricity

Beautiful, but pricey. R450 for 2 people (high season). Only kids under 2 are for free.

Lovely campsite and caravan park. Beautiful little lake with lots of birds and bats. Lovely grass stands with electricity. Super clean ablutions, great hot showers and good kitchen area. Free wifi but only very close to the office. Beautifully maintained place and feels like you’re in nature despite being in the middle of town. Very quiet when we were there.

Nice Green place, very quiet. Warm friendly welcome. Dogs are accepted, if on a leash. All other Details like stated by previously visitors.

Very beautiful campsite in good location to explore Port Alfred. Immaculate gardens and many birds as well as vervet monkeys around. Owner warned us though to not leave things laying around outside but there is a security guard at night. Pitches are on green grass with power points, ablutions are nice and clean and there is a large dishwashing area. They will bring you a braai stand if you ask. 120R pp (8€)

Beautiful park-like city campsite with pond and lots of birds, on grass, stands separated by hedges and trees, newly renovated and tidy ablutions. 240 ZAR for 2 persons pn. Fast 3G mobile .
