Something not right?

Description

150m fine sand beach with two palapas. Great for swimming, many dolphins. Nice guy named Benjamin will come by to collect 150 pesos. Two simple pit toilets, nothing else. Some road noise from jake brakes on the highway above but easy to ignore. A few goats and chickens back up the arroyo near Benjamin’s house. No cell signal at all.

A steep rocky road goes directly down from 1, or 300 meters north. there’s a better sand road that leads south to this beach.

Been here a day. Haven’t seen anyone else. Says 200 pesos to camp but no one here asking for money. Beach is a little dirty with trash and whatnot but a nice spot. Couple of outhouses without doors. Crystal clear water and lots of dolphins. Access is probably ok with 2 wheel drive. I’m getting 2 bars of service with my American ATT cell. Can send messages but hit and miss accessing websites/apps.

The place is simply magical. We spent 2 quiet nights, a seller of fresh clams came to offer us to buy some (250 pesos 12 clams) so tasty !The beaches in Baja California are free to access so we haven't paid for the nights. A man came to ask us for a little financial help to clean the garbage cans, we gave him 50 pesos (he was happy) spot highly recommended

The beach is AMAZING—great for swimming, the water is extremely clear and calm.

As a solo female, I got a bit creeped out when Benjamin came to my palapa and started hanging out with me. He didn’t ask me for money until I asked him how I could help him. Honestly felt incredibly uncomfortable as I was coming back from swimming and only wearing a bikini. Didn’t even know that he was the caretaker here!

Ended up sleeping here anyways, everything was well and he came around around noon to see if I wanted to stay another night. Still felt a bit creeped out as he just stays there without saying anything.

Kinda felt like he wanted to hang out? Idk but I was uncomfortable.

Nice beach. Empty compared to the others further north. No one here when we arrived to collect but supposedly will be coming back. Missed one turn off and took second one with a nice steep decent! There are four shade palapas. Not sure about the toilets, although we do see people going and coming from the general location, we have our own. Great little spot.

Absolutely loved this place! Still barely any people/rigs, on NYE there were only 2 more trucks here.
Unbelievable especially since it is so stunning and peaceful here!
$200 pesos per night, Benjamin is super nice, you got 3 adventurous toilets to choose from, but great snorkeling and huge herds of dolphins daily (now mostly at around 10am-1pm)

What a wonderful spot! We were there by ourself and enjoyed the beautiful sandy beach. Nice Palapas there as well. We spend 2 nights for free as no one was there or came by to collect. If you go there, please bring some food for the really nice dog and the cats. The cats are where the abonded house is. As the owner wasn‘t there for (?) days, they didn‘t have any water or food.

beautiful beach! no-one around to collect fees, place very rundown but the waterfront is just stunning. great for swimming, snorkelling, and SUP when the wind is gone. PLEASE feed the dog Palomo and the cat near the abandoned house!!!

This is such a wonderful spot and deserves some support after the hurricane. Palomo the dog deserves some attention, he's the sweetest little terrier that loves people, and if you have extra food he would appreciate it. Pictures of him and a drone shot included. The owner Ben doesn't come by everyday so we feel Palomo is lonely and possible hungry so brings snacks. Ben is great host/caretaker of the area, and charges 200 pesos per night. Some of the Palapas are in disrepair after the hurricane but most are still functional (4-5). Beautiful clear water and shallow beach 100 ft out, dolphins and tropical fish by the rocks.

As described, a sand beach, no rocks, turquoise waters. We took the north entrance on the narrow sandy track as the direct rocky downhill was rather intimidating for our 21 foot Promaster van.
Benjamin will appear after you are settled to collect 200 pesos per vehicle per day.
Trash cans and crude toilets are far enough downwind not to be bothersome. No other facilities, no Telcel phone signal at all.
The palapa is welcome shade in May.
It may seem odd to pay for a beach when free spots are available but this is a prime swimming beach with no rocks or seaweed and a fresh afternoon breeze off the bay. We’ve seen none better since La Paz. For swimming.
