Beautiful State Park. Very nice check in but they do close at 5pm sharp 😉

Report Check-In

Very secluded. Spot #8 is by a creek and Across from clean bathroom & showers. Faucet and fire pit with hookup.

Like others described. Very well maintained and very nice showers with toilets. We had site #10 which was a joint site for two parties traveling together which I had never seen before. It was recommended at check in because we wanted to be as far away from others. Only about 6 others in A loop. Not sure why but B loop was busy and that is where water and electric is provide while we only had electric for $27. Would recommend this site to any type of traveler.

Nice campground. We stayed in camp area B it was elevated and had nice views of the water below. Even a little hill to walk down to a swimming hole with buoys marking the swimming area ($150 fine for swimming outside of the buoys). Saw a few fisherman out in their boats. The raccoons weren’t too shy, eps. after dark. A one eyes raccoon came out and started eating food out of the cats dish when the cat was out still.

There appears to be wifi points. For a cost. We didn’t bother as we were just there for the night.

Not all campsites are the same price. The price changes based on utilities provided. We drove around and took a site that was not reserved and paid at the visitor office the next morning.

Report Check-In

Well established campground with room for rvs, campers, and tents. Picnic table, fire ring, water and electrical hook ups at most sites. Bathrooms with showers available. There was a ranger on site that met us at our site when we arrived. Made reservation over the phone same day since their website required the reservation to be made at least 2 days in advance. Overall, good place to camp - only caution is to beware of the mosquitoes!
