Description

Nice spot to spend the night away from the touristic traps that’s for sure. But beware, the drive in Isla Blanca, meaning the 2 other spots before this one are all on one road. And that road has big potholes for like 6km (took me about 20-30 min in a Sprinter). No need for 4x4 just a heads up because no one mentioned it on the other 2 spots. There was a few RVs and other campers at the other 2 spots so I kept driving till I came to a dead end. That’s right, the rest of the island is private property and you can’t go farther up than this spot. We were able to park it with a nice view of the Laguna and could hear the crashing waves on the gulf side.
We got charged 250 total. 50 pesos at the entrance of Isla Blanca and 200 at night when a guy saw us sleeping here. Other than him we didn’t see anybody else up here. Easy access to the sea. No amenities. Lots of mosquitos at dawn and dusk but none during the day. Clean area, keep it that way.
