Great place, a free, fcfs campground with hot showers? Yep, and a nice river walk trail, birds and in the forest. Weak cell service, but usable. Easy 2wd access via both Beaver Creek Rd and Norman Riley Rd (north and south).

This campground was a pleasant experience and has well-maintained facilities. The bathrooms were clean and the warm showers were fantastic. There is trash available as well. The sites are numbered and are first come, first serve. We arrived late afternoon on a Saturday and there were two sites left. The sites are quite long and it looked like a couple of them were being shared but still plenty of room between rigs. Cell was okay with 1 bar on AT&T. A nearby camper had their generator running in the early evening but the night was quiet and it was nice to hear birds chirping in the morning. There was a diverse mix of campers, Class A's, tow campers, vans and a tent. Overall, a great choice for a camping trip or just a quick overnight stay while traveling through Florida like we were. Looking forward to staying here again someday.

As others have stayed this was a great spot for a couple of nights. Last night we were there the host even had a little free concert around the fire.

Be careful though we got there after a couple nights of heavy rain and much of the campsite was flooded.

public camp ground so there’s more than just you here, i left cause men were becoming annoying but not before i took a hot shower in a clean very very limited mobility shower.

Absolutely beautiful site with plenty of room for all sizes of vehicle. Would have loved to have stayed longer and will likely be back. Two things to note:

1. There was absolutely no cell service (Verizon) anywhere within a mile of the site.

2. As the other reviewer mentioned, take Beaver Creek Road in and out. If coming from the East, GPS will try to route you on Barton Road. Do not take this route unless you're looking for a new set of tires and a new suspension.

Nice campground in the river. plenty of space, good showers and toilets. Place to wash dishes and stuff. I think it would be crowded on the weekend during the summer but plenty of space to spread out. Very clean and kept up by a campsite host. Free.

Large campground on side of a river. Access is down 2 miles of dirt track. No fee. Showers and toilets are good quality.
