Stunning campsite!! access road slippery in rain, go slow, regular vehicle can do, friendly staff, clean ablutions, just beautiful surrounds! will be back! Dont try to phone..just go, between 6am and 6pm.

Such a beautiful little reserve and great campsite with regular SA electric plugs at the spots and all! It's a pity there's no information about hiking trails anywhere. At reception they said to follow the trail at the end of campsite but we don't know how long it is nor where it takes. At one point we took another path that looked like a trail but it was probably a very used animal track that disappeared all of a sudden. Price for camping is 80 ZAR ppn and they only take cash so always ask for a receipt! Very bad basically inexistent Vodacom signal at the campsite.

80R/person, electricity, hot water, fishing (I caught nothing), hikes up the mountain, swimming, nice views, friendly staff. What more could you ask for.
Payments cash only. Watch for ticks in the long grass if you hike around the lagoon.

Report Check-In

Very nice spot, close to town but very quite and peaceful. You could easily spend a few days here. As with most Ezemvelo camping spots the facilities are old but spotlessly clean.

Report Check-In

stayed in the 2 bed chalet, impeccably clean and tidy, lovely views. R250 per person

Report Check-In

Small nature reserve campsite. Old but well kept. Price now R80 pppn. A few locals picnicking outside the camping area but didn’t bother us. Only campers here over a weekend. Good bass fishing. Gates locked from 6pm till 6 am.

Report Check-In

Make sure you arrive before 6pm otherwise the gate we’ll be locked and no one would come..

Gard at the gate/Office didn’t say a word to us, he pointed out the price for one night, wrote the registration form and pointed ware to sign and that was that🤔. Not a welcom, not a word, we didn’t feel welcom! Good place for one night if going to Sani Pass Lesotho!

Well kept lawns, nice ablutions, shade, power, bass fishing, boating and well priced.... A Gem!!!!

Report Check-In

Beautiful location next to a large dam. Nice terraced lawns and plenty of shade. Bass fishing and boating. Clean ablutions. Next to nature.

Report Check-In

Beautiful and quiet indeed! Ablutions could use some maintenance but for 70 rand pppn I'm not complaining. Every pitch has a braaistand and access to a power plug. Campsite is situated at a nice lake. I saw lots of birds, cute little mice and a few big hares. Would have stayed here longer if I had the time.
