Parking in front of the Lake | Wild Camping

Incredible views, incredible sunsets. In the afternoons very windy at times. We stayed 4 days with a large motorhome. On the fifth day a person from the municipality arrived to tell us that we could not stay overnight. The next notice came with a fine. We went to an internal street. The place is beautiful and worth enjoying.

Increíbles vistas, increíbles atardeceres. Por las tardes con mucho viento por momentos. Estuvimos 4 días con un motorhome grande. Al quinto llegó una persona de la municipalidad para indicarnos que no se podía pernoctar. El siguiente aviso venía con una multa. Nos fuimos a una calle interna. El lugar es hermoso y vale la pena disfrutarlo.

Great spot in Duan Huapi, nice small suburb in the east of Bariloche. Stayed for one night along with three other campers on Sunday. Quiet parking near the beach. Good levelled spots for campers, for both small and big rigs. Can be windy but was no issue.

Campers of the day before said they were send away by the police during their second passing by, but can be due to the Saturday evening.

During our stay the police passed by between 22h-00h, stopped for a moment and drove on.

Great sunset! Recommended place to stay.

Lugar muito tranquilo e calmo tem câmeras de segurança muito bonito não pode fazer fogo ou usar churrasqueira à polícia passa várias vezes e ficamos 5 dias no último dia a municipalidad passou a avisou que não é permitido passar a noite

Passamos 2 noites muito tranquilas aqui. Ótimo p quem quer fugir da agitada Bariloche.

Excelente lugar para pernoctar.
Tranquilo, frente al lago. Es un estacionamiento público y gratis. Hay varios lugares.

Slept here 1 night was veryyyy nice! Glassy lake in the morning. Had a swim and washed ourselves. And were kiting. Next evening the police came and sended us away. It is possible to sleep in the neighbourhood there but we did not want to take the risk to be sended away again so we decided to sleep at the puma gasoline station

El lugar es muy tranquilo y tiene una hermosa vista. Sólo pasamos una noche acá. A la mañana siguiente se acercó una camioneta de la Municipalidad y nos preguntó si estábamos de paso, a lo que respondemos que si, que solo habíamos pasado la noche, por lo cual no nos dijeron nada y siguieron. No se si nos hubieran permitido quedarnos más.

Yes. Very nice spot and excellent views. We stopped for lunch. We accessed the beach stones with 4WD. Luxury resort nearby so security should not be an issue

Amazing place!
Facing the lake, peaceful and with the incredible view of the mountains (ps: the sunset is stunning!).
It's outside Bariloche, so you can escape the crowds!
It is in a residential neighborhood, facing a walking trail. Then residents with their dogs passed several times walking around here. everyone was very polite and received us very well. But we believe that if we stayed any longer, someone would be annoyed.
We highly recommend this place, but be aware and don't stay too long, and, of course, take your trash with you :)

There are several parking spots in front of the Lake. We spent a very quiet and peaceful night with a beautiful view of Nahuel Huapi.
