Overnight camping at this place is illegal. At 21:00, police asked us to leave before midnight!!!...because a complaint by the same person, 2 evenings in row... police was really sorry, very polite...but had to make rules respected :(
Report Check-InThis area is clearly marked as no camping. We went to Jamaica beach to try our luck there. All Galveston beaches are closed to camping with up to a $500 fine for doing so.
Report Check-InNice beach that is empty most weekdays. Can get busy on the weekends but there is plenty of room for everyone. Seen some camping trailers here but no big rigs. Entrance can be sketchy. May need 4x4 at the entrance on the wet months.
