Large flat area near train tracks. Very minimal unpaved road and may be accessible with low-clearance vehicles or big rigs/trailers. Have seen very few people around. Great Cell signal

The description before it was really good. If you turn off and go about a half mile up Black Cat Pass Road there’s a large area, you can pull out to camp, there were two of us (Small RV’s)together. There large areas, nice and flat. Beautiful sunsets, big skies and plenty of stars to dream on. The train went by around 9 pm. and again around 8 am. The train at night was really fun to see. I would definitely stay there again. There were lots of little flies though. Other than the train, the desert is super quiet. When you turn off at Black Cat Pass Road there is a gate that’s closed w/ a chain, be sure and close it behind you when you go in and also again when you leave.
Report Check-InTrain tracks are very close to this sight. When we stayed here on Friday, we had no issues with the train. Returning today (Sunday), one passed by and ran the horn a couple times around 11pm. Thankfully, we were still up. Not sure if this is weekly.
Report Check-InThis is a beautiful location in the Sonoran Desert. There are RVs and vans scattered throughout but most are out of sight - lots of camping choices. Good for tents as well.
The road is fine and any two-wheel drive vehicle should have no problem.
2 bars of Verizon where I’m parked, with a signal bossier antenna. Your signal will depend on your carrier and location.
Report Check-InJust as described, not very crowded during my stay. Surprisingly good AT&T reception, using my Nomad Internet hotspot in streaming video and Spotify etc with no lag or buffering.
Report Check-InFantastic open BLM land for camping, larger rigs and vehicles without 4wd need to be careful on some roads but can navigate around to most of the sites
Report Check-InAnother fine place to roll up in the dark in a van! Easy to find and plenty of spots. Probably because it is October and 81 at 9pm’nn
Report Check-Innice and quiet. have seen very few people around. boof place foot a few days.
